<title>ABSTRACT</title>
<p> The experimental and statistical studies presented in this paper aim to investigate the effects of cutting edge radius, tool wear length, cutting speed, depth of cut and rake angle on cutting force and thrust force. In experiments, a shaping based Quick Stop Device was used and CuZn30 workpiece material was machined by rounded edge worn cutting tools. The effects of the cutting parameters on cutting force and thrust force were investigated as employing the analysis of variance (ANOVA) and two empirical models of these forces were obtained from multi-variable linear regression analysis. </p><p>Keywords: Rounded edge worn cutting tool, Cutting forces, Linear regression, ANOVA. </p>
