<title>ABSTRACT</title>
<p> Unmanned aerial vehicles UAVs play increasingly important roles in many operations. Only a few countries have the ability of producing UAV with their national aerospace industries. The main selection criteria of UAVs are low cost, low risk and critical mission capabilities. In this paper, new ideas and concepts are given parallel with the air superiority. The question of how UAVs should be used in close air support (CAS) tasks is tried to be answered on basis of technological capabilities. UAV usage effects are given in CAS task and operation against terrorism in short, middle and long period. </p><p>Keywords: Close air support, UAV, Concept. </p>
