<title>ABSTRACT</title>
<p>  In order to determine the most   suitable cultivar and nitrogen level on yield 
and yield  components  Barley  cultivars,   an   experiment was conducted at Saveh Azad University of Technology Research farm in years 2007-2008. The experiment was arranged in a split-plot design with four replication. Four levels of nitrogen(10,60 ,80,100 kg/ha) were the  mine  plot  and  subplot were two cultivar. Seeds of  two barley cultivars 
( Valfajr and Reyhan) were  sown  with  four  nitrogen  treatments (N10,N60,N80,N100)
most of the yield and yield components were significantly highest in N(80kg /ha). Among  the  cultivars  most  of  the characters showed their highest values in Valfajr and
the lowest in Reyhan.
