Nowadays as it is in many sectors, in the hotel business personal internet usage is increasing in terms of both the amount of individuals and the time spent using it. In particular the making of smart phones more attainable with GSM operators making the internet also both more available and faster, in terms of speed, caused this situation. The intensive use of the internet in hotel businesses among employees during working hours is increasing cyberslacking, and is emerging as a phenomenon that fuels inefficiency in terms of business. The purpose of this research is to reveal the difference between cyberslacking trends in terms of departments and the personal characteristics of employees of hotel businesses in Antalya Province. In this research cyberslacking data will be collected with a scale which has been developed by Blanched and Henle (2008). The scale consists of 13 articles. Specific advice and recommendations for more efficient personal internet usage and cyberslacking prevention, will be provided to hotel businesses.
