The research shows procedures and the results of the study that explores people’s opinions, the current status of and variables that influence public relations work and staff in Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University (NPRU). The research instruments were in-depth interview and questionnaire. The topics of the questions in the questionnaires included NPRU blogs, online forums, the weekly university news journal, posters, interpersonal communication, and social media tools used in the changing environment in which public relations practitioners conduct campaigns to reach the public and connect and communicate with students. The article points out the importance of public relations work and how it can affect the image and profit of NPRU. Currently, many aspects of public relations at other universities are changing rapidly. The results of the research indicate that public relations practitioners should be warned of the dangers when many of their clients already are familiar with social technology and request its utilization in communication efforts. As a result, there is a need for some practitioners to receive training in up-to-date public relations to bring experienced professionals “up to speed”.
