This research aimed to study the efficacy of the active learning method using by Sirindhorn College of Public Health,Yala, key success factors and its utilization The mixed method wasused.The target group consisted of those involved in the teaching including teachers and students and the quantitative and qualitative data were collected using teaching evaluation form, close-ended 5-rating scales supervising form and group discussion to determine key success factors and their utilization. Mean, standard deviation, percentage and content analysis were used as data analysis. The findings of this study were as follow: In the period of 2013-2015, the supervising result revealed that teaching staffs can managed active learning process well, Students’satisfactionwas in the level of high and both tended to increase every year as well. 1. The key success factors of active learning implementation consisted of 4 factors as follow: 1) executive factor including the executive paid particular attention and had set a clear policy and ongoing monitoring on active learning implementation. 2) teaching staffs factor including having positive attitude towards active learning, keeping paces with changes, teachers who performed well were regarded for their morale positive encouragement to the students for the right occasion. 3)learners factor including comprending active learning teaching methods , providing students with the opportunity to express their ideas and abilities and offering the commendation they deserved. 4) supporting structure and learning environment factor including sufficient availability and conducive learningenvironment. 2. The utilization: Firstly the executive team have to set a clear policy and ongoing monitoring on active learning implementation. Secondly teaching staffs need to have positive attitude towards active learning and keep on encouraging students to think critically and to establish and publish their scholary work.
