<title>ABSTRACT</title>
<p> When Suinn invented the visuomotor conception method in 1976 as a psychological method for athletic training, the idea upon which he based his experiment was that when man imagines a specific situation and identify its boundaries, dimensions and how to deal with this situation in his mind, he can reach better results in the actual life when he faces this situation actually. But this method &#8211; as a novel one then- didn&#8217;t study the individual differences concerning the ability to imagine or the mechanisms used to improve this ability. It didn&#8217;t handle also the temperamental differences, the variant psychological and mental differences between the subjects upon whom he applied his experiment. So, the present study is considered a step in the course of the development of the visuomotor conception method through the addition of some strategies and techniques that represent the base of constructing this method. This study differs from Suinn&#8217;s application of his experiment on unimpaired subjects as our present study was applied on a class of impaired athletes who differ greatly from those unimpaired ones concerning the psychological aspect. The purpose of this was to habilitate them to come back to practice sports. The researcher restricted the scope of the application of this study to involve the anxiety variable. The results shows the effectiveness of the suinn program to reduce the anxiety for impaired athletes. </p><p>Keywords: Suinn program, Athletes, Special needs, Anixity. </p>
