<title>ABSTRACT</title>
<p> The globalization phenomenon is complex and the rapid pace of this process renders its analysis rather difficult. It is not easy to accept or reject globalization. Technology and technological developments have continually improved over time, thus increasing efficiency, velocity, quality, quantity of the production of goods and services, raising the standards of living of man. In the recent decades, such technological developments have evolved into what is today called globalization process in which the world has become a global village. In this paper, we tried to present some of the most important dimensions of globalization, as seen from a cosmopolitan perspective, emphasizing both the positive and the negative aspects. </p><p>Keywords: Globalization, Cosmopolitanism, Modernity, Society. </p>
