<title>ABSTRACT</title>
<p>Adaptive e-Training as well as adaptive eLearning environments are considered major trends in
research and development in our field of educational technology and its related learning innovations. In
our view, there are design variables and approaches of adaptive designs of such environments that need
research and development efforts for investigating their effects on learning and training tasks.
Developmental researches should be implemented in those research and development efforts. This
research aims at designing a Kolb&#x2019;s Learning Style Inventory (LSI) based adaptive e-Training
environment for Kuwaiti female teachers&#x2019; professional development and discovering its effect on
developing their competencies for designing digital storytelling. So, the researchers implemented the
development research method because of the developmental nature of this research. An initial and final
lists of teachers&#x2019; competencies of digital storytelling design were derived that contained (11) cognitive
aspects, (9) cognitive skills, and (23) performance skills. A list of instructional design criteria of
adaptive e-training environment was derived that included (30) standards and (76) of their indicators.
The 1st author applied Elgazzar (2014) ISD model and developed the Kolb&#x2019;s LSI based adaptive
e-Training Environment to each teacher&#x2019;s learning style and was refereed to meet the design standards.
Two research tools: an achievement test of cognitive for cognitive competencies, and a product
evaluation checklist of digital storytelling, both of these tools were proven to be valid and reliable.
Participants were (27) KG female teachers from Kuwaiti Alasema educational district and used in a
Quasi-experimental design with pre-post tests. The 1st author carried out the research experiment. Data
was collected and research hypothesizes were tested. Results have revealed that there are a great effect
of the Kolb&#x2019;s LSI based adaptive e-Training Environment on developing teachers&#x2019; competencies for
designing Digital Storytelling, a mastery level is 90%, and a large size of effect. Thus the answer to the
question Is that there is an Effect of on Developing their Competencies for Designing Digital
Storytelling? Is yes sweron the cognitive aspect meant to develop the digital storytelling design, and
that there is a great effect of Kolb&#x2019;s LSI based adaptive e-Training Environment on developing
teachers&#x2019; competencies for designing Digital Storytelling. Also, the research report includes: tables,
references, a list of recommendations, and a list of future follow up researches.</p>
