A course in managerial/business statistics is typically a required core course in any business major. It is often regarded by students as one of the most difficult as well as least liked courses in their business degree. In recent years textbook companies have made efforts to develop software to assist students in learning this difficult material. This paper discusses the pros and cons of one such software package, MyStatLab. A comparison of student performance with and without the use of this software is reported. Student’s assessment of the software is also presented.
