ABSTRACT

In today’s competitive environment, in order for a company to exist and to survive, it must continually improve its export performance. We investigate export performance of SMEs from a developing country based on resource based view of a firm. Based on review of extant literature, we identify management export commitment to be important antecedent of export performance of agro food SMEs in Morocco. Data were obtained from 49 exporting agro food SMEs in Morocco. We utilize multiple regression analysis to verify the research hypothesis. The simple model of this research and the study’s findings provide important insights for executives.
