<title>ABSTRACT</title>
<p>The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between therecreation preferences of the students who currently enrolled in summer sport school in 2013 summer season and their multiple intelligence areas. 108 students werevoluntarily participated inthis study. In order to determine the students&#8217;multiple intelligence areas, a scale with a 5-point Likert type, the Multiple Intelligence Scale which was developed by &#214;zden (2003) was applied to the volunteer students. In addition, the students were asked to complete the Recreation Preference List in order to examine their recreation preferences. The data were analyzed with using descriptive analysis, Kolmogrof-Smirnof analysis andindependent Sample t-test analysis (p  &lt;  0,05). According to the analysis, the general results of this study indicated that there it was significant differences betweenrecreation activities and intelligence dimension. Especially; important significant result has been found between internet surfing activities and social intelligence (F:9,899, p &lt; 0,05). In addition; there was noted that scores of musical rhythmic intelligence were higher on behalf of listening music activitiesand concert and cinema activities. In conclusion; we determined that it was significant relationship between the recreation preferences of the students who currently enrolled in summer sport school in 2013 summer season and their multiple intelligence. </p>
