The entry and spreading of Christianity in Romania was a complex process that debuted from the dawn of Christianity, with the sermon of Saint Apostle Andrew and, possibly, with the sermon of the Apostle Philip in Scythia Minor (current Dobrudja) and was completed a few centuries later, during Emperor Constantine the Great (306-337), who reoccupied some of the territories dominated by the Roman Empire at the North of the Danube, in the first decades of the fourth century, between the years 106-274 (the old province of Dacia).
