Over 30 years is the Chines reform succeeded in economics. Everyone wondered what the environment of social in China changed rapidly, what were old elements to exist. This article study by a field investigation and comprehensive data and discusses the physical form of traditional buildings such as village layout and residence in Ding-Village, where traced back to 14th century. From the aspects of natural factors, social system and ideology, it reveals the deeper connotation of the settlement form. Ding-Villager's residence is typical of the northern dwellings of our country, and the house space organization, detail decoration and technical processing are all unique. Today the part of Ding-Village turns to be an art and cultural heritage place. Even in the new era of China, the layout of Chinese residential area and Confucianism ideology will exist for a long time.
