There are many reasons for getting students to speak in the classroom; speaking activities provide chances to practice real-life speaking in the classroom. On the other hand students try to use the language they know and activate the elements of language as well, they can see how well they are doing and as a result, students gradually become autonomous language users. Students are using the language to achieve some kind of purpose which is not always linguistic. Teachers should find speaking activities extremely engaging for students and resulting tremendous satisfaction as well. One of the important thing is to make or become the classes as talking classrooms, we should encourage our students and boost their speaking confidence. Generally all speaking activities provoke speaking as a skill and they give the opportunity for rehearsal, motivate students for engaging qualities and what is the most important : they are able to use the language automatically. Activities like role-play and an interview game are good examples of speaking activities taken from the real-life situations based on authentic materials. Also the teacher’s role is very interesting and important in the activities . All these issues and problems appearing in this process are discussed in the research paper based on teaching English language.
